Shutters

At 72 Hour Blind Factory, we specialize in Plantation Shutters. Shutters are commonly referred to as “the ultimate window covering.” Their versatility makes them desirable for both traditional and contemporary decors. Shutters are popular due to high resale value, effective insulation, their ability to regulate and block light and their remarkable good looks. Shutters can be custom made for arches, angles, arch top windows, doors with push lever handles, skylights and much more. At 72 Hour Blind Factory we offer two types of shutters.

Wood Shutters

Wood Shutters are plantation-style shutters crafted from premium hardwood. We carry a large selection of louver sizes. Our shutters come in several finishes, furniture grade stains, paint and custom colors.

Polysatin Shutters

Polysatin Shutters are plantation-style shutters constructed with UV resistant polysatin compound, so they’re guaranteed never to warp, crack, fade, regardless of extreme heat or moisture. Our polystain shutters also come in a wide variety of louver sizes. Other options include specialty shapes and custom paint choices.

Unusual Shapes and Sizes

Arches, angles, doors with push lever handles, skylights — no problem! Since plantation shutters are built from real wood components, arch top windows, doors with cutouts can all be manufactured to work with your windows and doors. Bi-pass plantation shutter tracks are an ideal way to cover large spans of windows or sliding glass doors. Shutters are actually attached to a decorative header piece and travel on wheels providing maximum flexibility without stressing hinges or frames.

With so many styles, materials and colors available, you may be overwhelmed by the shutter choices available to you. Don’t worry, our interior shutter specialists are happy to help you select the window covering that meets your needs.
